This place is a gem! The elder gentleman is so sweet and cares for his customers! Sandwiches are tasty! I love the California Pita! And any of the crumb muffins are delicious!

Overrated. Flies buzzing around, ugly with no atmosphere, and the food is just ok. I got a breakfast croissant sandwich that was mostly croissant with no fixings. The Apple fritter was what you'd expect from a Safeway or Fred Meyer bakery. Nothing special.

I went in search of this place because I read good things on Yelp and I read that you could buy a good German Chocolate cake here. My mom's coming to town for her bday so I wanted to test that out before I bought a whole cake. It just so happened that it was lunch time too, so I thought I'd give them a try. The first lady who I came into contact with was not very friendly. She seemed to be very friendly with the people who you could tell were regulars, but I didn't get even as much as a smile. I ordered the egg salad sandwich on a white roll and it was excellent. The bread was fresh and very soft. I also got a cup of the chicken and dumplings and it was just ok. When I went back up to the counter, the second lady to greet was much more friendly. The cake was very good and the muffins are A+. I will be back!!

Love their muffins! Worth the trip. The cinnamon rolls are to die for as well, tastes amazing, melts in your mouth.

I am really struggling with what star to give. I have been going here for years, and have loved this place. I love most of their sandwiches, soups, and of course their famous muffins. The muffins are 5 Star. So the last few times I have gone in the quality of the sandwiches have been going down. I don't know if it is new staff? Or no care in the quality? Anyhow I get either a gobbler, or a turkey sandwich. Well the gobbler is delicious, but it would be nice if I could take a bite, and not have everything fall out because the tomato is cut so big, or avocado, the same way... not cut in consistent bite size pieces. Also the last gobbler I bought there was a huge amount of cream cheese in the bottom, so everything else couldn't fit in the pita. The taste was still great. But it was just a bit much. I will still be a return customer. It I am sure was a fluke thing. The soups are always on point, and delicious. We usually get the raspberry lemonade. Usually really great, but last time was off...again...I'm sure a fluke thing. The turkey sandwiches are really good. Can't complain. I also, have had the meatball hot sandwiches, which are yummy. Just prep for heart burn. The Italian sandwich also amazing. Again..prep for heartburn.
The one sandwich I would not recommend is the club. It was odd. Now they grilled it on the flat grill, and it seemed almost like cheap cheese melted in with it. It was so gross, and left a horrible taste to be desired. It wasn't like any other club I have had any where else. It was kind of bizarre to say the least. It kind of bummed me out considering I like so many other items on their menu. I kind of feel like this is where I struggled a bit with the stars. The service has always been great. Even when there is a line to the door.
